Season 2 of PAA follows the life of three teen friends, Sam, Mark & Ciru as they work through life, love and loss during the school holidays.

Sam & Mark are a couple and are there for each other mentally & emotionally, but things get messy when Mark allows himself to be goaded by his childhood friend Edwin.

Ciru is concerned with her mum who is struggling to keep her kibanda business afloat, after the recent opening of Ngiti Shopping Centre. Ciru finds solace in drawing, talking to Mark and laughing with Sam.

How will the teens navigate the new challenges of pressure to smoke and get intimate? Will they find a way back to their true selves and each other?

Meet The Cast

SAM

Sam is driven and ambitious. She wants to be a lawyer when she grows up and is working hard at school to fulfil that dream. Will she be able to stay true to herself with the pressures that come with dating Mark?

CIRU

Ciru and Ann are best friends. Ciru loves being creative and loves to draw. She is quiet and always observes the world around her. Life at home with her Mum isn’t easy, so will they be able to make it through?

MARK

Mark is well-known and well-liked in his neighbourhood. His primary school friend Edwin is the troublemaker and instigates him to get into trouble. How will this play out for his and Sam’s relationship?

EDWIN

Edwin is shifty. He is insecure and unconfident and hides this by being a bit of a bully - he manipulates people and shouldn’t be trusted. Edwin has known Mark for years and he is jealous of him and his life.

WAWIRA

Wawira has been ignoring her University classes (the same classes as Esther) because she has fallen into the behaviour of a slay queen - she has let her studies and ambitions slide by choosing a path of going on dates with men for attention. Will she get back to her true self?

ESTHER

Esther attends University and has a job on the side. She is often studying and trying to better herself. We see her try to navigate life while being HIV-positive and staying true to her beliefs.

That’s what the students at St. Josephs find out on the hot, new series, PAA, which follows a group of high school students waki-navigate life as a teenager.

From good grades and mean girls, to pushy parents and boy drama, we see Lydia, Talia and Neema make plans, make mistakes and make strides.

Lakini things get hectic for each of them when it comes to making choices for themselves. Will they buckle under pressure ama will they do their thing?

TALIA

Confident and cool, Talia is St. Joseph’s “It girl” but underneath all the cool vibes si ati kila kitu ni perfect. Will she learn to listen to herself or fall into the pressure?

According to Ciku, St. Joseph is “their” school. So she doesn’t make things easy for Lydia. Will she change her tune?

KENDI

Kendi is all about social media and keeping the new girl, Lydia, in check. Will she learn how to do her own thing?

BRIAN

Fun, smart and courteous, Brian gets to know Lydia and likes what he discovers. Will this crush blossom?

MARTO

Marto tries too hard. He wants to get Talia’s attention and impress the crew by doing the most. But does he go too far?

JAMAICA

Jamaica is the class clown who gets swayed by Marto into trying too hard. Will he become his own person?
