Poa sana! Asanteni for having me here today……………Maisha inanipeleka tu sawa, ups and downs hapa kule but we are cruising nicely so far.

So, tuambie story yako! Who is Doreen and what are your dreams & aspirations?

Doreen is a young woman, social media content creator and a HIV/AIDS advocate. My dreams include traveling the whole world…lol but on a serious note, I want to leave my footprint in the hearts of people by showing them that there is  a life beyond HIV through my own lived experience.

What would you say is not your thing? 

Mmmmh…I don’t like confrontations and drama. I walk away from such coz it’s just negative energy and because I’m already living with HIV, sipendi vitu kama smoking especially shisha juu iko na tobacco and it’s not cool.

And finally, what keeps you going and how do you stay true to what you believe in?

I keep myself going. I believe I owe it to myself to be proud of the person I want to be. There are two people I want to make proud; 8 year old me, by achieving all the dreams I had at the age of 8 and 40 year old me by showing her that I wasn’t afraid of living this life to it’s full potential. I’d also challenge every SKY girl to make 8 year old her & 40 year old her PROUD!
