Hey, my name is Lamka Joy. Debating and acting is my thing, bullying and bad vibes is not my thing. Some of the three positive choices I make to keep my body and mind happy are; 

  1. Regular online detoxes- hizi ni zile masaa I take time off of screens by reading novels na kucatch up na friends tukihang out.
  2. I also love going on solo dates cause every time I get to rediscover myself and am learning to love my own company.
  3. I recently started a skincare journey to help keep my face clear and feeling nourished.


Hey, I’m Maryanne Wafula. Dancing and taking care of the environment is my thing, but smoking is not my thing. The three positive choices that I've made in my life are;

  1. I have been staying true to myself by saying no to things I don’t want.
  2. I have been taking care of the environment and ensuring I don’t litter. 
  3. For me, staying healthy ni important sana for my future so I got the HPV vaccine juu inaprevent cervical cancer.

  1. To keep my mind healthy, I have a diary and a journal app where I write down my feelings and the things I appreciate 
  2. ⁠For my mental health, I choose what's for me and accept those that aren't for peace of mind
  3. I also go to the hospital for check-ups when my body is not feeling okay

  2. I have been prioritising self-care.

  1. Exercising regularly: I try to engage in physical activities such as swimming and nature walks. This helps me stay active, build strength and improve my overall well-being.
  2. ⁠Eating a balanced diet:  I make sure to eat fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins. I'm able to get nutrients and energy to keep me going.
  3. ⁠Practising self-care: I prioritize activities that promote mental well-being cause mental health is precious. Spending time with my friends and family and not forgetting activities that bring me joy.
